Project SummarySEI were contracted to perform a maintenance checkup for the solar electricity (PV) and solar thermal (SWH) systems on a number of Circle 33's properties in Cambourne, having originally installed the systems some years previously. A number of operational faults and minor damages from tenants were detected and corrected, and a report submitted to the client regarding the status of the systems. |
Technical InformationVarious system configurations were in place, as the systems were previously been installed by SEI as two separate projects as the town developed. |
Social, Economic and Environmental BenefitsA number of systems were suffering from minor operating glitches that were rectified, with the result that tenants on low incomes now save even more energy costs. Regular maintenance also increases the longevity of generators and therefore the value of Circle 33's investment. |
