All of SEI's system designs include a kWh meter to measure the amount of energy generated by the system. This is generally sufficient for electricity supply companies to monitor the amount of electricity generated (we always suggest you contact your electricity supplier for their latest requirements before installation commences).
When the building includes a BMS, we can use a pulsed-output meter to send generation data to the system to monitor centrally.
Alternatively, we can use the pulsed output to send data to a public display board. SEI offers a range of displays to suit your requirements. All display boards include a fully customisable background graphic, and can include for up to three lines of LED readouts. Common readout values include:
Public display boards with can be installed in reception areas to promote your organisations green image, or diagrams can indicate how the system works to help in teaching.
Full system monitoring, including live performance data of both the PV array and the inverters, can be recorded using additional equipment connected to the inverters. This can then be interrogated directly, or it can be connect to a modem or LAN for long-distance monitoring for both maintenance and publicity.
