SEI is often involved in large construction projects around the UK, and as with all such projects, there is often a pre-qualification process to go through. In order to make this matter simpler for clients, SEI has started the process of applying for a listing on the Constructionline database.

Owned by DBERR, this is a national database of various suppliers to the construction industry, designed to streamline the tendering procedure and add additional assurances for potential clients using a company for the first time. A range of information is recorded, including financial stability, health and safety and environmental records; it also requires a number of references for each sector accredited, so every contractor listed will be backed up by quality installations.

SEI is hoping to complete the process in the next few months, so watch this space!
