SEI Accredited on BERR Microgeneration Scheme

Date:
28/11/2008

SEI has been awarded certification under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme. SEI is proud to display its commitment to a professional, quality service through this scheme, in which our design methods, management systems and system installations were all audited. Our certificate covers photovoltaic and wind turbine installations, which form the core of our project work.

The UK scheme is owned by BERR (Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform - formerly DTI) and adminstered by BRE. It is designed to raise standards throughout the on-site renewable generation industry, implementing quality controls for products, designers and installers alike. Applicants are required to submit to an annual audit of all related aspects in order that certification be maintained.

This new qualification supersedes our previous certification under the Government's Clear Skies programme, which ended last year. It also allows us to continue offering projects eligible for grants under the Low Carbon Buildings Programme to both the public and domestic sectors.
